Busy Professional Fiduciary and Case Management company seeks a Client Bookkeeper to join our team. We serve people who need health and/or financial management, including seniors, people with special needs, SMI adults, veterans, children and adults who may have suffered significant medical or accident injuries; and others with resources who require assistance.
Job Description:
- Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a team-oriented perspective
- Capture new client financial assets
- Open a bank account and reroute direct deposits to new account
- Collect information and open Gems account for client and process financial transactions
- Receive and pay client bills in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank and investment accounts and complete account summaries monthly
- Prepare forms and reports for the court
- Prepare annual report for representative payees
- Prepare report of trust assets for court
- Scan and upload finance files
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Proficient in accounting software
- Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data accurately.
- Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, debits, credits, and account reconciliation.
