Job Description
Title : Field Service Engineer
Location : Flexible - Must be located near a major airport
Hire Type : Direct Hire
Compensation : $75-85K per year overtime
Benefits : Medical, dental, vision, 401K
Requirements : Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair; willingness to travel extensively (at least 80%), including internationally.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, while providing detailed reports to the back office.
- Serve as the primary on-site technician for assigned customers, with travel to additional locations as needed.
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance in alignment with operational standards.
- Provide post-maintenance production support to achieve or surpass pre-maintenance efficiency levels, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and automation malfunctions, utilizing root cause analysis and escalating issues when necessary.
- Address technical claims and collaborate with the quality department to resolve issues, including detailed root cause analysis.
- Install rebuilding kits following established procedures and restore equipment to production readiness while exceeding customer expectations.
- Assess system performance, implement corrective actions, and recommend operational improvements to enhance efficiency.
