Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Specialist to join our team at Sterling Engineering. This is a direct hire opportunity with comprehensive benefits, including 11 paid holidays, 2 weeks of vacation time, and a competitive hourly rate.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, installing, and replacing electrical and mechanical equipment in our manufacturing plant.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair facility mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment
- Predictive and preventative maintenance duties on pumps, presses, valves, fans, and safety machine guards
- Source replacement parts, materials, tools, and spare parts as needed
- Monitor and maintain CNC and related machine shop equipment
- Assist in building components for major plant projects/maintenance
- Operate and maintain forklifts and overhead cranes as needed
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Troubleshoot and maintain engines, conveyors, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of industrial electro-mechanical experience preferred
- Strong mechanical ability
- Electrical experience up to 480-volt 3-phase
- HVAC experience a plus
- Experience with PLC's desired
- Machining experience helpful
