**Electro-Mechanical Technician - 3rd Shift**
We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team at Sterling Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical skills and experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial packaging equipment and facilities support equipment with a focus on maintenance and safety.
- Work from daily job assignments, prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, facility check sheets, machine manuals, sketches, preventive maintenance sheets, and instructions.
- Dismantle equipment, rebuild, and replace defective parts and component units such as motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, and electrical units.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including AC 480-120v and DC 180-low voltage controls.
- Good troubleshooting skills in electricity and mechanics (pneumatic, gearbox, hydraulic, and cam-type).
- Able to lift up to 55 pounds, possess good visual accuracy, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work overtime when necessary and weekends when required.
