Shift & Hours : 3rd Shift (10 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM, weekends required)
Pay Rate : $28 / hr - $36 / hr

The Maintenance Technician III position is a cross-functional role requiring expertise in technical support for complex electronic, electric, and pneumatic controls and instrumentation. This role involves collaborating with various crafts (e.g., boiler mechanics, HVAC technicians, plumbers) to repair and install advanced control and instrumentation systems in an automated environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, and install electronic systems, gauges, and instrumentation with mechanical and electronic interfaces.
- Adjust, program, and maintain electronic, electric, and pneumatic controls for systems such as boilers, building automation, fire protection, and energy measurement systems.
- Program PLCs and microprocessor-based systems for operational efficiency.
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy within fine tolerances and recalibrate as needed.
- Rebuild instruments and procure necessary parts and tools for maintenance.
- Assist in designing and installing data communication systems.
- Maintain time and material records; prepare and submit detailed work reports.
- Perform inspections and recommend upgrades or renovations for system improvement.
- Use a computer to access work instructions, e-mails, and administrative tasks.
- Communicate effectively using two-way radios or pager systems to address routine and emergency issues.
- Ensure shop equipment is operational and perform housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
- Support quality, safety, and legality standards for products and manufacturing processes.
Qualifications : Education :
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience :
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in instrumentation, electronics, and / or a mechanical program.
Certifications :
Journeyman certification in instrumentation trade or ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CSST) Level II may substitute for required education.
Skills :
Knowledge of equipment setup, functions, operating procedures, and preventive maintenance.
