As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a critical role in the preparation of monthly financial statements, analysis of key accounts, and ensuring the accuracy of the General Ledger. This position has a strong focus on payroll and fixed asset accounting, as well as general ledger reconciliations, inventory, and month-end close processes.
You’ll also serve as a valuable backup for other essential accounting functions, making your contribution both broad and impactful.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure integrity and accuracy.
- Perform accounting for prepaids, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory.
- Conduct month-end closing activities and support financial reporting.
- Handle daily production posting and assist in year-end activities such as physical inventories and standard cost roll.
- Serve as backup for cost accounting, treasury, cash applications, and sales & use tax administration.
- Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- BS in Accounting preferred.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience, within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Salary : $85,000 - $98,000
