We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Custom Automation Solutions Expert to join our organization. This individual will be responsible for driving sales of our custom automation solutions, working closely with customers to understand their unique requirements, and providing tailored solutions that enhance their operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging with manufacturers, system integrators, and other industrial clients.
- Consult with customers to assess their automation needs and propose customized solutions that optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and technical demonstrations.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and project management teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements and feasibility.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for additional solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging automation technologies.
- Participate in trade shows, client lunches, and industry networking events to promote company solutions and expand market reach.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and reports using CRM tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Business, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of Account Management and/or Business Development experience within a custom equipment manufacturer.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel nationally up to 50%
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
