Seasonal Grounds Maintenance

Job Summary
The Grounds Maintenance Worker plays a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of Unicorn Golf Course. This position involves a variety of tasks related to Golf Course maintenance, garden maintenance, and overall landscape upkeep. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for working outdoors.

Duties

• Perform golf course activities including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy grass growth.
• Maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper irrigation and care.
• Operate hand tools and machinery for various landscaping tasks such as tree trimming.
• Regularly inspect grounds for any maintenance needs or safety hazards and address them promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of golf course practices, garden maintenance, and tree care techniques is advantageous.
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively; familiarity with golf course equipment is a plus.
• Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while following instructions accurately.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 43 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
