What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer 2025 Risk Management Intern - Birmingham position at Sterling Seacrest Pritchard?
Sterling Seacrest Pritchard offers a 10-week internship which allows for professional growth throughout our agency. Interns will receive the same new hire training as our incoming hires and will have the opportunity to intern in a specific insurance niche area. Interns will be providing assistant level support to our teams and will work on a variety of different projects throughout the summer. Interns will also have the opportunity to network across multiple groups and listen to speakers in a variety of niche areas within the firm.
The objective of our internship is to provide students with a full understanding of what a brokerage firm does. In addition to direct support for our teams, interns will also have an opportunity to work on a variety of customer service skills. Our interns are given projects throughout the summer that allow them to showcase their creativity and knowledge to our shareholders.
This is considered a full-time internship with an expected 40 hours per week.
