Sterling Septic and Plumbing is an established septic company providing services in King and Pierce County. We are growing and have an immediate opening for a Septic Pump Truck Operator.
In this role you will be operating a pump truck to service residential and commercial septic and sewer systems, all while providing top notch service to customers. This role requires a state of mind of flexibility and collaboration as the schedule naturally varies significantly throughout the day. A can-do attitude is a must. The goal of the pumper is to serve as many customers as possible in a day, while maintaining good customer rapport, safety, and profitability goals.
Pay Range: $26 - $36 p/hr DOE

Pay Range: $26 - $36 p/hr DOE
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance with monthly premiums paid at 100% for the employee. Employees are eligible to participate after 90 days of employment.

- 40 hours of paid vacation the first year with increases up to 120 hours of paid vacation based on years worked.
Qualifications/Experience
- Valid drivers’ license and insurable through company insurance carrier.
- Must pass drug and background screening.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime as needed (this is a frequent occurrence).
- Class B Commercial Drivers’ License or higher and insurable through company insurance carrier.
- 1 year’s of CDL driving experience.
- Clean driving record (fewer than 3 points).
- Septic experience (Not required but preferred).
- Complete O&M level 1 testing within 6months of hire date.
- Able to clearly communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge and ability to work with tools used on the job in a safe manner.
- Ready and eager to learn something new every day.
- “Hands on” learning style.
Salary : $26 - $36
