Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. This is an hourly position with the primary responsibilty of analyzing, recording, and reporting results for incoming raw materials and finished products.
Responsibilities
- Conducts laboratory tests on finished products to ensure test results are within product specifications.
- Conduct analysis and testing as required for all incoming raw materials and maintain required documentation.
- Maintains records of all test results and generates Certificate of Analysis as required.
- Perform analyses on in-process production samples and provide appropriate corrections as needed.
- Prepares, standardizes, maintains, and labels laboratory solutions.
- Ability to standardize laboratory instruments and maintains proper records.
- Prepares truck paperwork for finished goods.
- Housekeeping and other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Skills
- Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
- Basic computer skills (MS word, Excell, Outlook).
- Lab knowledge preferred but not necessary.
Physical Requirements
- QA technicians must be adaptable to time pressure and changing priorities.
- Position requires shift work and flexible work hours including overtime for training meetings, and plant coverage.
- Lift up to 50 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
