Job Description:
Seeking an Acute Care RN Manager responsible for overseeing the management of the Emergency and Medical-Surgical Departments. In this position, you will be held accountable for the management of personnel, fiscal, and material resources, working closely with the Chief Nursing Officer. You will coordinate department staff scheduling according to patient acuity, maintain and monitor staffing records, and supervise personnel to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Location: King City, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8-hour shifts (daytime).
Certifications/Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS/BCLS, certifications are required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing management role.
- Must hold a current, active California RN license.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient services across various departments within the hospital.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure effective treatment and recovery.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and available resources.
- Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive appropriate services in a timely manner.
- Utilize managed care principles to optimize resource utilization while maintaining high standards of patient service.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
