Job Summary
Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a night shift contract position. The role consists of six 12-hour shifts per week (Thursday - Tuesday), followed by 8 days off. Some shifts on Thursday, Monday, and Tuesday may be 10 hours, while Friday through Sunday will always be 12-hour shifts.

- Required License: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Shift Details:
- Six 12-hour night shifts per week
- Thursday to Tuesday (6 days on, 8 days off)
- Some shifts may vary in duration (10 hours on Thursday, Monday, and Tuesday)
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold an active California CLS License
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
- Must be available to work night shifts
- Ability to work holidays as required
Responsibilities
- Conduct specimen collection and processing, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Perform venipuncture and blood sampling procedures with precision and care.
- Manage laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Execute various assays using advanced techniques such as PCR to analyze clinical samples.
- Maintain accurate records of laboratory tests and results, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and methodologies to enhance service delivery.
