About the Role
We are seeking an experienced LPN for a 13-week contract in a LTC Unit in Kane, PA. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential patient care in a behavioral health setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care: Administering medications, managing treatments, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, eating, and maintaining proper hygiene.
- Monitoring and Documentation: Observing residents’ health conditions, recording vital signs, and documenting changes in health status or behavior, reporting any significant findings to RNs or physicians.
- Collaboration: Working with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans, manage treatments, and provide holistic care for residents.
- Resident Comfort and Advocacy: Ensuring that residents are comfortable, safe, and their emotional and physical needs are met. This includes supporting residents with mobility, pain management, and personal care.
- Family Communication: Communicating with residents’ families about their condition, care plans, and any changes in their health, while providing emotional support when needed.
Qualifications Required:
✅ Active and unrestricted PA LPN License.
✅ Minimum of 2 years of LPN experience.
✅ Current BLS certification.
