Pay Rate: $69/hr on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN ER to join our team in San Bernardino, CA, 92404 for a 13 week contract. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As an Emergency Room Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care for individuals experiencing acute medical conditions. Your expertise will contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients during critical moments.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon arrival in the Emergency Room.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and perform necessary interventions, including IV therapy and wound care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with hospital policies.
- Assist in emergency procedures such as spinal taps, intubations, and other critical interventions as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to infection control protocols.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Previous experience in an Emergency Room or critical care setting is preferred but not required; candidates with backgrounds in ambulatory surgery centers, long-term care, ICU, or hospital medicine are encouraged to apply.
- Familiarity with behavioral health issues is a plus.
- Experience with medical records management is beneficial.
- Knowledge of specialized treatments such as botulinum toxin treatment is an advantage.
