Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Position Overview:
Marian Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team for a 13-week assignment. This position offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime. The successful candidate will rotate between our Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo locations, providing high-quality perinatal ultrasound services in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality perinatal ultrasound exams, including Maternal-Fetal Medicine procedures.
- Accurately document patient data and exam results using the Cerner charting system.
- Rotate between Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo locations, assisting with a wide variety of ultrasound imaging.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, following proper protocols and maintaining infection control standards.
- Work collaboratively with the obstetrics and gynecology team to provide the best patient care.
- Available to work Monday through Friday, with shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Required Qualifications:
- RDMS-OB/GYN certification required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maternal-Fetal Medicine or OB/GYN ultrasound.
- Strong proficiency with perinatal ultrasound procedures and imaging technology.
- Comfortable rotating between locations and providing care in both Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,029.00 per week
