Director of Business Development

Job Overview
The Stern Auto Group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. This role will oversee our Business Development team and be based at both Rockland Nissan in Blauvelt and White Plains Infiniti.

Some Duties:

• The BDC director shall be responsible for all stores lead management. This will include overseeing all leads/ via phone calls, internet.
• The director will manage a team of representatives to answer all leads, manage the setting of appointments for the sales department. This includes helping set appointments, confirming appointments, and following up with missed appointments.
• The BDC director will work closely with Sales Management to ensure all appointments are turned over to the sales department to begin the sale process.
• The BDC Director will also manage and report all lead activity and representative's performances.

Some Skills:

• Proven experience in business development for a face-paced auto group.
• Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of success.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Excellent leadership and coaching skills.

We Offer:

• Base salary plus commission.
• Anticipated compensation in the $100K to $125K annually based on performance.
