Trusts and Estates Paralegal

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Paralegal to join and support our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in real estate and trusts and estates law. This role requires attention to detail and document preparation to support attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts of sale, deeds, powers of attorney, health care directives and probate petitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
• Maintain organized case files and manage documentation related to ongoing cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients and Court personnel as needed.
• Manage deadlines for tax filings and Court appearances to ensure timely submissions.
• Support the administrative functions of the law office, including scheduling appointments and managing correspondence.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in real estate and trusts and estates is preferred.
• Strong skills in document review, proofreading, and legal administrative tasks are necessary.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective client interaction.

This is a full-time, in-office position.

Salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 per year (with increases based on experience and performance).
