Duties
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to specifications and customer requests.
- Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling and pricing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and exceptional service.
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs to management.
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of products.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cutting tools.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in meat cutting or food preparation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and handling procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Proficient in using various kitchen tools, particularly knives.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A background in the culinary field or food industry is advantageous.
