We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Manager to oversee our nearly 400,000 sq. ft. Aurora, CO manufacturing facility which operates 24/6. This role includes managing the maintenance team, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing maintenance strategies to support production goals. The Senior Maintenance Manager will also focus on leadership competencies to address recurring challenges and improve team performance.
The hired candidate can expect to make between $130,000 to $140,000 annually. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

The Day-to-Day
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members.
- Drives accountability for maintaining work standards, GMPs, 5S and WO Processes.
- Maintenance Operations:
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure equipment Reliability to deliver MTTR and MTBF plant deliverables.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the maintenance budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure cost-effective maintenance solutions while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 10 years of leadership in a technical manufacturing environment, including manual to automated operations
- 5 years of Working with CMMS systems.
- General knowledge of USDA, SQF, BRC, GMP, and HACCP, sanitation, quality, and safety programs required.
- Experience leading a team in successful continuous improvement
- Experience Leading TPM implementation and/or AM (Autonomous Maintenance) and PM (Preventative Maintenance) implementations
- Proven track record of leadership experience with ability to manage 3-8 direct reports with a total department of 35 employees
- Ability to influence plant leadership and drive cultural change with regard to Safety, Food Quality and Reliability
- CMRP Certification
