Job Description:
We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team in a multi-faceted role. This position will involve a blend of hands on carpentry, general labor and assisting with superintendent responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a well rounded background in custom residential construction, a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work, including framing, finish trim work and various punch list items
- Assist with various labor tasks, such as site preparation, material handling and cleanup.
- Support the Superintendent with daily site management, including scheduling, quality control, trade partner and supplier coordination.
- Ensure that all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, company standards and client specifications.
- Communicate effectively with all team members, trade partners, suppliers and clients.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized jobsite.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in carpentry, including framing, trim carpentry and general woodworking.
- English speaking is a must and bilingual English/Spanish would be a plus.
- Strong understanding of the construction process, tools and equipment.
- Experience in assisting with project management or superintendent duties is prefered.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, technical drawings and product cut sheets.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work within a team and independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, electronic, verbal and written.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Clean driving record will be required to operate company vehicles.
