Job Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years Multi-Site / Regional property management experience (leasing, marketing, maintenance, employee supervision and development, resident relations, vendor relations and negotiations).
- Demonstrated leadership ability and employee development skills.
- Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws, Fair Housing mandates and other legal issues affecting property management.
- Experience with delinquencies, renewals, accounting, collection of rent, and conflict resolution of resident issues.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage multiple budgets.
- Oversee portfolio's operational and financial performance to ensure achievement of established objectives.
- Expected to report on monthly budget variances, while providing revenue generating solutions or expense savings strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Perform quarterly property inspections / reviews to ensure operations are organized / managed per current policy and procedure.
- Review and gain approval for capital projects, including larger scale capital projects requiring multiple bids
- Proficiency with property management software (YARDI Voyager preferred), revenue management software, Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree, CPM or other industry related accreditation's preferred.
- Lease-Up and New Construction Experience Required
- Section 42 and Affordable Housing experience preferred.
- Institutional Client Management Experience Preferred
