Warehouse Manager

Oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods; manage staff; maintenance of building and grounds.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Accomplish warehouse operations human resources objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicate job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising
• Prepares shipping documents
• Maintains detailed records of all outgoing and incoming shipments
• Arranges for adjustments if merchandise is lost or damaged
• Achieve warehouse operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans, implementing productivity, quality and customer service standards; resolving problems
• Meets with Internal Sales Manager to maintain equipment, accessory, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; verifying receipt
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures
• Ensure security of building, stock, and company assets
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management and shipping
• Develop warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment
• Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions
• Building & Grounds Maintenance
• Act as Backup Delivery Driver when needed
• Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
 Technical, human, and conceptual management skills
 Shipping and Receiving Management workflows and procedures experience
 Familiarization with OSHA rules and regulations
 Valid driver's license
 Knowledge of computerized inventory/location systems
 Experience with UPS order processing
 Experience with weight packaging processes
 Effective computer skills for all software provided
 Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
 Strong leadership skills
 Forklift Experience, Certifications preferred
 Ability to Drive a 20-foot Box Truck
 Experience in Building and Grounds Maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
