We are seeking an exceptionally organized Accounting Onboarding Manager to oversee and lead the accounting setup process for our e-commerce clients. The ideal candidate will manage the onboarding phase from initiation to completion, ensuring client satisfaction and the delivery of reconciled, accrual financials within agreed-upon timelines.
Responsibilities:
● Manage the onboarding of 3-5 new clients per month, enhancing the overall efficiency of the setup process.
● Execute and host a series of onboarding intake calls to collect the necessary information required to complete our accounting process.
● Serve as the primary contact person for clients during the onboarding phase, ensuring satisfaction and effectively addressing client needs.
● Serve as the technical lead to troubleshoot and investigate all issues related to clients' financials, systems onboarding, and access collection.
● Oversee and complete cleanup work for historical financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
● Transition clients to the recurring accounting team by providing strong documentation of client information and developing comprehensive training resources.
● Deliver finalized financials adhering to our standard Chart of Accounts, ensuring:
- All accounts are reconciled.
- Sales, COGS, and expenses are captured on an accrual basis in accordance with GAAP.
- Quality Assurance processes are completed.
● Facilitate a smooth transition of clients to the recurring bookkeeping team, providing detailed client documentation including:
- Completed Karbon work templates with applicable training documentation.
- Detailed client cheat sheets and vendor glossaries verified by clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
● 2-5 years of experience
● CPA preferred but not required
● Experience with inventory and cost accounting

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
