Stevens Fine Homes seeks to add an energetic, positive and organized part-time Sales Assistant to our team!
The Sales Assistant is responsible for supporting the New Home Specialists by assisting in the selling of new homes to achieve company goals and providing a professional, positive customer experience. The Sales Assistant will provide administrative support and relief coverage for model homes and/or sales centers. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets and engages visitors to determine needs and preferences. Refer to New Home Specialist, when appropriate, and set appointments in writing using our preferred calendar for prospective buyers to meet with them.
- Assists in maintaining office and community appearance. This may include vacuuming, sweeping, replacing burned out light bulbs, etc. and notifying team members of needed repairs and maintenance.
- Assists in providing community tours to prospective residents and their families and maintain a positive customer experience by setting accurate expectations and educating customers on the new home building/buying process.
- Demonstrates model home features and benefits. Provides information about the community while emphasizing Stevens’ value and story.
- Provides product and pricing information to prospective buyers and stays abreast of all community and product knowledge required to answer customer questions.
- Producing and distributing various documents, including general correspondence, memorandums, presentation materials, etc.
- Compiling data for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required
- Enters new leads and updates existing leads in the CRM as required
- Provides timely and consistent follow-up with customers from initial contact through hand-off to New Home Specialist or Online Sales Counselor or as otherwise needed
- Assists New Home Specialist with all administrative aspects of the sales office including, but not limited to, answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing, event planning, coordinating maintenance of sales center and opening/closing the sales center and model homes
- Documents daily traffic and assists community sales representatives with reports and information summaries to management.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Six months of related experience in a customer service or retail/sales field
- Equivalent combination of sales/experience
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to learn and implement the Stevens Fine Homes sales process
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Responsible and professional with strong work ethic, integrity and reliability
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Must be available to work two Saturdays per month
- Frequent walking and standing
- Ability to safely navigate active construction sites and under-construction communities
- May be assigned to different communities and/or occasionally travel between model homes.
- Ability to place and replenish marketing signage, real estate flyer boxes, etc.
Computer Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Lasso CRM (or ability to learn)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
