What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Stevens & Legal?
Growing plaintiff's side law firm in Hillsboro looking to add an attorney for a full-time position. Base salary is minimal, but the bonuses significantly boost income for a person looking to do the work, as you earn a percentage of all revenue you bring in each month. Also perfect for a newer attorney looking to learn how to litigate or someone transitioning from another area of law or from a government position.
With our Eugene office, we are open to work from there as well.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and revise pleadings.
- Draft and send demand letters, as well as negotiate settlements.
- Handle cases from the start through completion.
- Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials as needed.
- Provide superior customer service.
Qualifications:
- Active license in Oregon.
- Have a desire to work hard and learn.

Firm handles personal injury, landlord/tenant, employment law, small businesses, trademarks, contracts, and some estate planning. However, position is designed for employee-side employment law, but open to other areas of law.
