Description
The 4k-12 Assistant Principal is an integral part of the administrative team and works closely with school personnel, community, and students to promote a commitment to academic excellence and student achievement. The focus of the Assistant Principal includes the District Assessment Coordinator, School Assessment Coordinator for middle and high school, LEA Representative, leadership of the middle school team, and working in partnership with the pupil services team.
The district serves approximately 800 students. The community, students, and staff take great pride in their school. School staff is dedicated to the Professional Learning Community (PLC) model to improve student achievement. The Fennimore Community Schools is consistently ranked among the best schools in the State of Wisconsin according to the U.S. News and World Report and state report cards. In addition, strong co-curricular and student clubs promote local, state and national achievement. The middle school offers students diverse educational opportunities, studying outdoor education at Wyalusing State Park and traveling to Washington D.C.
This is a full time position beginning July 1, 2025. The preferred candidate will hold an administrative license or be working towards completion of the license.
