Description
Oconto Falls Public Schools are seeking high school students to help support teachers with student success in our 2025 Summer School Program.
Performance Responsibilities:
Supervise children on the playground/cafeteria/classroom
Engage with children
Attend to minor first aid situations
Follow the schedule created by the principal to work with students & staff
Positive attitude and patient, caring personality
Good judgment and ability to balance firmness and flexibility
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Must enjoy working with children
Given our efforts to continuously improve as an organization, we may experience situations where other responsibilities will be assigned as deemed necessary by the supervisor
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications:
- Must enjoy working with children from a wide range of developmental levels
Self-motivated
Able to organize safe recreational activities for students
Effective communication skills and an understanding of confidentiality are essential
Punctuality, regular attendance, and dependability are required
Terms of Employment:
Hours: 7:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday during summer school terms
Pay Rate - $10/hour
The applicant must be currently in Grades 9-12.
