Full Time
- Install, configure, and ensure optimal operation of network hardware, cabling, wiring, servers, routers, switches, uninterruptible power supplies, management systems, and other network components
- Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade firewall and Internet filter Create, manage, and/or maintain data archiving, storage area network, virtual server snapshots, and disaster preparedness systems
- Work with director of technology to establish, monitor, maintain, and promote data security, data loss prevention, and cyber security procedures and practices district wide
- Coordinate interoperability of multi-platform server environment
- Create and maintain all student and staff network and software accounts including but not limited to Google, Adobe, Active Directory
- Maintain “Help Desk” for computer and network related problems and ensure accurate ticket records are maintained regarding status and time on ticket
- Work with staff to implement specialized software/hardware solutions in areas including but not limited to technology and engineering, photography, business, world language
- Manage hardware and software maintenance, images, inventory and policies on district computer equipment
- Research and evaluate new technologies aligned with district initiatives and needs for possible implementation
- Monitor, maintain and manage copiers, printers, and all functions related to direct and cloud printing
- Provide support services as needed for district data systems such as student information, food service, library and recreation department software systems
- Create, maintain, and report various records related to network documentation, network activity, servers, software licensing, firmware, inventory, user accounts, and assigned activities
- Collaborate with and work as a direct subordinate to the director of technology

- An associate (or higher) degree in computer systems, information technology, or related field CompTIA A Certification, CompTIA Network Certification and/or two years of experience maintaining computer systems, preferably in a school system
- Experience with Microsoft Windows in a domain environment
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, VMWare
- Experience with managing and troubleshooting ethernet network switching, wireless networking, IP routing
- Experience with managing directory services and user account management Strong troubleshooting skills
- CompTIA A Certification
- Google IT Professional Certification
- Microsoft Certification desired
- Technical Knowledge: Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing Windows and Mac desktop and laptop systems.
- Skilled in mobile device service and configuration for Apple and Google mobile devices.
- Familiar with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and Skyward.
- Understanding of the technical aspects of computer functions and mobile devices.
- Abilities: Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, researching and implementing effective solutions.
- Provide assistance with tasks on computers, Chromebooks, Apple iOS devices, and other similar mobile devices.
- Install and configure network printers.
- Assist users with basic tasks in Microsoft Office and Google Apps for Education.
- Troubleshoot and resolve wired and wireless network software and hardware problems.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of individuals.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot computer peripherals, including interactive display boards, projectors, document cameras, monitors, printers, and scanners.

- Work independently, demonstrating efficiency and sound judgment.
