Description
Arrowhead High School is seeking applications for a Set Builder for the Winter School Play. The time frame commitment is from early-November to mid-February.
The set builder functions as a master carpenter, most often working in conjunction with the set designer, the technical director, the stage crew advisors, the stage crew students, and some other adult volunteers to construct the stage set for the Arrowhead Drama production. Must be skilled with interpreting blueprints and using tools such as table saws, mitre saws, jigsaws, drills, air compressor tools, etc. Specific knowledge of building, rigging, supporting, and painting stage scenery is a plus. Opportunities exist for artistic painting, foam carving, and creating other specialty pieces, depending on the nature of the show.
