Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented independent contractor Mold Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mold remediation and restoration processes, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mold inspection, removal, and remediation according to industry standards and company protocols.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment used in mold remediation processes.
- Contain affected areas to prevent mold spread and ensure safe removal.
- Clean and restore affected surfaces, ensuring proper disposal of contaminated materials.
- Document project details, including before-and-after photos and work logs.
- Communicate effectively
- Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Experience in mold remediation or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of mold removal techniques, containment procedures, and air quality control.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Certification in mold remediation (IICRC, AMRT, or equivalent) is a plus but not required.
