Job Summary
The Physiotherapist enhances the quality of life of patients by planning and implementing individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning and cardio-respiratory health, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.

Job Summary
The Physiotherapist enhances the quality of life of patients by planning and implementing individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning and cardio-respiratory health, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
Requirements
- MSc or BSc in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
- Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists.
- Registration with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association or eligibility.
- Two (2) years’ experience with an inpatient physical therapy program.
- Demonstrates excellent clinical skills and professional leadership capabilities with a focus on collaborative teamwork, patient flow and quality improvement.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Demonstrates excellent assessment, communication, organization, problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrates initiative and the ability to function both independently and as an inter-professional team member in a crisis and fast paced demanding environment.
- Demonstrates a strong ability to facilitate patient and family-centered care and establish therapeutic relationships.
- Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
- Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for patients, family and staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to the professional growth and development of self and others.
- Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one’s own.
