Job Summary
The Senior Windows Administrator is the front line of the IT Department. This position interacts with users of all levels within the organization and handles tech support for about 70 users both onsite and remotely connected. The Administrator will communicate IT issues and troubleshoot and resolve incidents along with notes and time spent in the IT ticket tracking system. This position must have a strong customer service focus and be able to interact with users of all skill levels. This position also interacts with technical support from external IT providers and from IT vendors.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Maintain desktops, laptops, and iPhones/iPads, including new deployment, troubleshooting, upgrades, maintenance, and decommissioning/recycling.
- Troubleshoot issues with company CRM
- Setup new user accounts, set permissions and access, manage passwords and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Maintain current specs and hardware and software inventories/licenses.
- Handle majority of IT questions, requests, and incidents from internal users.
- Provide technical support to internal users onsite at headquarters location and remotely connected.
- Tracks incidents in IT ticketing System and troubleshoots technical issues.
- Provides support via phone, email, and face to face during standard business hours. Occasional after-hours work will be required as approved by your supervisor.
- Deploys and maintains all workstation computers and phones.
- Installs and maintains software updates including managing licenses.
- Maintains printers and toner supply levels.
- Sets up conference room equipment for onsite meetings and presentations. Occasional IT support at offsite meetings may be required as approved by your supervisor.
- Understand, adhere to and reinforce compliance regulations and safety guidelines related to the responsibilities of this role.
Requirements:
- Must meet background check and fingerprinting requirements
- Knowledge of Active Directory Administration, Windows Server 2019
- Knowledge of Azure AD and Microsoft Office 365
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and DNS/DHCP
- Experience with Dell workstations, iPhone/iPad, Windows 10, Office 365
- Experience with Dell Imaging
- Experience with Dell PowerVault SANs
- Experience with Hyper-V Clusters; creating and maintaining VMs for servers
- Excellent customer service skills, communication skills, problem solving skills
- Experience with Datto Backup/Recovery strategies and disaster recovery a plus
- Experience with Avaya IP Office (or equivalent) phone system a plus
- Experience working with external managed service providers and IT vendors a plus
- Able to think creatively and work effectively with limited supervision
- Strong organization skills
- Bachelor’s Degree-Preferred
- Preferred: 3-5 years of experience with technical support to internal users in a mid-level IT environment
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000
