Forklift Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have recent forklift experience, mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Operate powered industrial trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load and unload products from trailers, store products and materials in designated locations, and deliver materials to production
- Perform all assigned basic forklift and material handling equipment maintenance tasks
- Effectively use company systems and processes to accurately record information about materials and finished goods
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Perform cycle counts, pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped
- Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material-handling equipment
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of recent forklift experience
- Forklift Operator Certification preferred
- Knowledge of various pieces of material-handling equipment is preferred
- Proficient in basic mathematics
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations
- Must have experience in forklift inspections
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Must Pass a Company Forklift Certification Test
- Must Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen Test
- Must Pass a Criminal History Check for Company Criteria
Physical Requirements:
- Able to execute 3-point mount and dismount onto and off of forklift multiple times per hour for up to 12 hours per day
- Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted from floor to overhead
- Able to consistently stand, bend, twist and move up to 12 hours per day in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment

Schedule:
- 1st Shift Hours: 6:00am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday
- Willing to work overtime when needed
Bilingual Spanish Preferred:
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking colleagues and leadership
