Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our dedicated team. The QMHP will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals in various settings, including inpatient facilities and outpatient clinics. This position requires a strong understanding of mental health counseling, behavioral therapy, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping others and a commitment to fostering positive mental health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices.
• Provide direct mental health counseling services, including grief counseling and art therapy.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on behavioral therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives aimed at improving mental health practices.
• Engage with clients in various settings, including inpatient facilities and outpatient clinics.
• Stay informed about current trends and developments in mental health care, particularly in geriatrics.
• Mobile Crisis Certified

Requirements

• A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; relevant certifications as a QMHP are preferred.
• Experience in special education or working with individuals with diverse needs is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in mental health counseling, particularly within inpatient settings.
• Familiarity with clinical research methodologies is an asset.
• Strong skills in clinical counseling and the ability to apply various therapeutic techniques effectively.
• Knowledge of art therapy and behavioral therapy practices is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in mental health practice.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
