Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in both residential and commercial painting projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Perform plastering tasks to ensure smooth surfaces prior to painting.
• Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing.
• Collaborate with other trades on construction sites, including frame carpentry and trim carpentry.
• Execute commercial painting projects while adhering to safety standards and timelines.
• Conduct concrete finishing work as needed for specific projects.
• Provide maintenance person services as required, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting is preferred; experience in commercial painting is a plus.
• Familiarity with plastering techniques and materials.
• Competence in using power tools relevant to the painting trade.
• Previous work experience on construction sites is advantageous.
• Knowledge of frame carpentry and trim carpentry practices is desirable.
• Experience with concrete finishing will be considered an asset.
