We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our upscale restaurant, Gemelle and our new establishment, Stewarts Croquet & Cocktails. This position requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage inventory effectively while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Duties
- Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide training and development for staff members to enhance their skills and improve performance.
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock management, ordering, and loss prevention strategies.
- Conduct administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support the hiring process by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees.
- Operate cash registers accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for both employees and our guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant management in an upscale or fine dining setting is required.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control are essential.
- Excellent administrative abilities with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and financial transactions.
