What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner/purchasing position at Stichler Products?
Clerical individual needed for well established family owned candy manufacture since 1905.
Primary Responsibilities:
- place purchase orders for raw materials needed for production
- keep track of inventory on raw materials and finished goods to make sure stock levels are accurate according to customers' orders
- plan production orders according to sales orders
- investigate any inventory issues and adjust as needed
- verify paperwork from receiving and key into computer
- verify production paperwork and key into computer
Job requirements:
- attention to detail
- knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- nice to have knowledge of QuickBooks or similar. We use Sage 50
- ability to multitask
we encourage input in a team environment to help in product development
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
