The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Territory Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for growing your defined geographical territory by identifying strategies to increase distribution and profit. You will work closely with dealers, the branch, and corporate to achieve assigned goals and initiatives. This is an outside sales position, and the essential functions of this job will be completed remotely.
Key Responsibilities
* Maximize STIHL sales by assessing market conditions, the competitive landscape, and existing dealers, and identifying strategies to increase distribution and profit.* Call on and visit dealers at an appropriate frequency to execute national and regional promotions, Point of Purchase, merchandising, and branch programs, working synergistically with marketing, customer service, finance, and tech departments.* Train new and existing dealers on key STIHL programs and facilitate trainings with territory support team, including the coordination and facilitation of STIHL University to a large group of participants.* Initiate new dealer development and ensure successful store installation and initial training.* Attend and support STIHL at various regional trade shows and dealer events to promote STIHL, our products, and services.* Support initiatives as assigned (BER, EDGE, New Dealer, etc.).* Develop business/action plans with dealers in order to analyze dealer performance and establish future goals to promote overall business growth opportunities.* Maintain reporting (CRM reporting, monthly field reports, territory intelligence reports as requested).* Conduct dealer administration tasks, such as responding to email, follow-up, scheduling, maintaining Outlook calendars, STIHL website use setup and maintenance (SSO, Rewards, iCademy, eBiz, etc.).*
