Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Lead role is a fast-paced, challenging, hands-on position responsible for overseeing the management of daily manufacturing activities including all operations, quality control, inventory, Lean methodology implementation, as well as departmental safety. This position will oversee daily operations and ensure that the manufacturing department is well-coordinated and an effective business unit through standard operating procedure development and execution, regulatory compliance adherence, and strategic personnel hiring and training. The Manufacturing lead is responsible for prioritizing, planning and efficiently completing production orders to satisfy demand requirements and ensuring the safe production of quality products while meeting goals and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicates and implements strategic initiatives with a clear sense of direction, urgency and focus
- Addresses employee issues and concerns in a timely manner
- Drives process innovation and improvements to reduce operational costs, and improve reliability, performance and quality.
- Captures critical and key process data to effectively track yields, machine uptime, through-put, labor utilization, etc., and maintains visible KPIs.
- Resolves technical and production-related problems to ensure completion of weekly schedules.
- Monitors production activities “hands-on” and implements corrective actions immediately.
- Collects and analyzes data to find places of waste or overtime.
- Provides Senior Management with reports on production, inventory and operational performance and areas of opportunity.
- Maintains compliance with all local and state regulations.
- Centralizes all relevant documentation for Manufacturing (SDS, Safety Documents and Training Records, SOPs, Quality Specifications, etc.).
- Upholds all policies and procedures and provides feedback for any potential procedural changes which may occur within all departments to Senior Management.
- Maintains a culture of safety; supports all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
- Assists with product recall or complaint investigations when necessary.
- Coordinate scheduling of all facility maintenance.
- Maintains all cleaning documentation and conducts audits to ensure compliance.
- Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Provides leadership, training, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group.
- Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by your manager.??

Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.?
- 1 years of experience required.
- Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Prior production, assembly and/or cannabis experience is preferred.?
Requirements:
- Must be over 21 years of age.
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week. Flexible availability to work both day and night shifts.
- May perform activities that include periods of rigorous, repetitive work.

- Ability to stand for part of the shift.
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer.
- Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 40 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
