Configurator Systems Integrator

POSITION SUMMARY

Stiles Machinery Inc. is seeking a Configurator Systems Integrator for its Grand Rapids, MI location.  The Configurator Systems Integrator will be responsible for the connectivity and integration of computer, machine hardware and software, as well as the development upkeep of integration standards and processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         Develop and maintain expert status of Cut Rite and all other software required for proper machine integration.

·         Create, execute and maintain seamless integration between suppliers of software and computer hardware and machinery controllers.

·         Achieves and maintains “Expert” status on software and integration issues.

·         Responsible for software support to on-site integrators as well as customers, bringing problems and questions to fast and efficient resolution.

·         Trouble shoot problems/issues for customers and onsite integrators, resolve Software Integration/vendor support issues.

·         Perform onsite software integrations and installations.

·         Train, mentor and advise new and existing employees on software integration products, services, and practices.

·         Assist with the educational aspect of software and software integration for customers as well as other team members.

·         Work with the development teams to resolve current issues and plan for future software development.

·         Assist with product training, machinery demonstrations, and development of Help Files and Software Documentation (creation and maintenance).

·         Act as direct liaison to software suppliers to resolve technical issues and address development concerns.

·         Coordinate and participate in demonstrations to enhance machine and systems sales.

·         Test and evaluate integrated systems to assure that they meet the sales specifications and

for managing industrial production processes.

·         Assist in the process of improving manufacturing processes while on site at customer.

Requirements

Must have 5 years of experience in the following specific areas:

·         Development and integration of DAU's configurator 3D;

·         Creating, analyzing, and modifying scripts VB Script and Powershell for Manufacturing Engineering Systems;

·         Intermediate programing of Java-like skills; and 

·         Fundamental to intermediate Microsoft SQL database programming and development. 

Must have 4 years of experience in the following areas:

·         Development of configuration software, such as Roomle; and

·         .NET software development and integration.

Must have 3 years of experience in the following area:

·         HTML programming.

Must have 1 year of experience in the following areas:

·         Woodworking processes using HOMAG machines;

·         Woodworking knowledge of HOMAG edgebanding and CNC machines; and

·         Working knowledge of furniture assembly process, such as cabinets and closets.

 Up to 25% travel throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada is required.
