Painter Technicians have a huge impact on the lives of our residents and on the overall culture of the community. This position is an invaluable part of the Still Hopes family! Below is a picture of the impact a Painter Technician has and what being a difference maker looks like!
Responsible for painting and responding to medical emergencies throughout the Still Hopes campus.
Candidates should have five or more years of experience in the specific trade of painting, have knowledge of color combinations, surface preparations and care of equipment. This position prepares and paints interior and exterior surfaces of walls, woodwork, furniture and fixtures throughout the community and property. This includes all phases of painting and maintenance; moving of heavy equipment, minor furniture repair and refinishing; and upkeep of vehicles and equipment as needed/directed. In addition, this position is required to respond to medical emergencies on campus throughout the shift. Still Hopes will provide EMR (Emergency Medical Responder) training if not already certified. This is a Monday through Friday position but also requires being on-call for one weekend every eight weeks.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the general trades of plumbing, electricity and carpentry. Candidates must be able to climb ladders and scaffold safely. Must be able to lift fifty pounds, have capability of reading and comprehending specifications.
