Facility Coordinator

The Facilities Coordinator is action-oriented, self-initiating, and comfortable working alone. They are attentive to the various needs of the customers, staff, and managers who make TSP a supportive community. 

Some of the duties of the Spa Facility Coordinator are:

• Ensure that all areas of the spa including treatment rooms, waiting area, front desk, and laundry room are immaculately clean and in excellent working condition. This is achieved by doing regular walk throughs, creating task lists, assisting with minor maintenance, and coordinating subcontractors to perform work. 
• Review quotes and negotiate and assist in the hiring of subcontractors. 
• Create and maintain a checklist for treatment room standards and cleanliness, and schedule walkthroughs with the Spa Director once per week. 
• Ensure that the overall appearance of the outdoor area of the spa, the front porch, and parking lot are all maintained to Still Point standards. 
• Manage purchasing of all professional products adhering to monthly budget. Take monthly back bar inventory.
• Research and prepare recommendations for equipment, decor and supplies that are budgeted for purchase. 
• Order all office and laundry supplies.
• Maintain a professional image at all times with personal presentation, groomed nails and proper hygiene. 
• Always demonstrate a positive attitude, excellent communication skills and appropriate speech and behavior with guests, managers, co-workers and members of the local community.

The Facilities Coordinator enjoys the duty of ensuring that all areas of the spa are in excellent working order. This includes identifying issues, recommending solutions and overseeing implementation, as well as purchasing professional products, taking inventory and ordering office supplies. Strategic planning and problem-solving experience in small and large businesses, especially hospitality and health, are desirable. Intermediate level computer skills are required.
