Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with product inquiries.
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash register operations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, enhancing customer understanding.
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking merchandise as needed.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy and adhere to cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Stay informed about product knowledge and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; abilities are a plus.
- Proficiency in basic math skills, including retail math for transaction processing.
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Demonstrated capability in upselling products and conducting engaging product demos.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
