JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Professional Development provides strategic educational and organizational development vision and goals for Stillwater Medical. Significant responsibilities include but are not limited to formulating and administering policies and programs, managing human, financial, and physical resources. Responsible for oversight of personnel training in the areas of mandatory and continuing education. Ensure that courses are available to assist employees in meeting their educational goals. Assess clinical and operational requirements and the laws and regulations of the healthcare industry and system needs. Promotes and supports system-wide staff growth and development and collaborates with administration, department managers and team to implement both centralized and department-based continuing education activities. Maintain working relationship with educational institutions. Provides leadership and support to the organization’s goals and tactics to promote standards of excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors required.

Masters preferred.

Healthcare experience preferred.

Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
