The Appliance Repair Technician is responsible for performing repairs, adjustments, and installations of various electric and gas appliances, including washers, dryers, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, refrigerators, air conditioners (window), water heaters, and water softeners in the Lake Charles, LA area. This role requires excellent communication skills to interact with customers, ensuring clear explanations of services while working efficiently and with care in residential settings. The Technician must adhere to company policies and safety guidelines, providing top-quality service while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The position requires travel and may involve working in environments with varying temperature conditions.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Training and Experience: At least 5 years of prior experience in sales, repair, or installation of appliances; customer service experience is preferred.
Job Knowledge: Strong understanding of various home appliances, including electric and gas models.
Physical Demands: Ability to perform tasks requiring occasional heavy physical effort, including standing, walking, and heavy lifting. The position involves working both inside and outside of air-conditioned environments, often in private residences with varying temperature condition
Valid driver's license is required
Must be able to pass a physical and drug screening.
