We are searching for a second shift Full-Time Logistics Specialist for our position in Medina, OH. The Logistics Specialist will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. This position requires a range of responsibilities, including customer order management, consultative sales, and problem resolution.
Logistics Specialist Responsibilities :
- Foster the growth of new and existing customer accounts to drive business development.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to all customers, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Identify and communicate potential business opportunities to the sales organization through the Sales Support department.
- Oversee order creation, load procurement, negotiation, freight tendering, and efficiently resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain regular communication with customers through phone, email, and web-based channels, and facilitate communication with owner operators or outside agents for cost-effective shipment execution.
- Monitor shipments from order entry through delivery, ensuring on-time performance and suggesting process improvements when applicable.
