Clean and climate controlled work environment

1st Shift : 5am to 3pm - Monday - Thursday

TIG Welder Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Operate hand-welding equipment to join metal components, or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products
  • Ability to read work orders, blueprints, instructions, formulas, and / or processing charts to ensure precise and accurate welding in agreement with the customer’s design specifications
  • Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and properly document such non-conformances.
  • Follow established safety procedures and work safely all day
  • Follow all relative ISO 9000 procedures

TIG Welder Knowledge / Education :

  • Minimum of one year of welding / fabrication experience with certification in MIG / TIG welding. GTAW and GMAW welding abilities required
  • TIG Welding experience on 1 / 16" aluminum and stainless steel to 1 / 2" thick
  • Understanding of distortion control
  • Ability to accurately read, interpret, and fabricate from manufacturing and / or customer provided blueprints to meet welding specifications
  • Ability to accurately read weld symbols and pass all weld tests is required.
  • Ability to weld within tight tolerances
  • Ability to communicate properly with team members and staff at all levels in order to manufacture a high-quality product
