Job Overview
As a QC Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products and processes meet the established quality standards. Your role will involve inspecting, testing, and documenting various components and finished products, identifying any defects or non-compliance, and providing feedback to the production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality control procedures, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with established quality standards and specifications.
· Utilize a variety of inspection tools, equipment, and techniques to perform detailed inspections, such as calipers, gauges, micrometers, and visual inspection methods.
· Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to conduct inspections and tests accurately and efficiently.
· Identify and document any defects, non-conformities, or deviations from specifications, and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders, including production team members and supervisors.
· Monitor and document quality metrics, such as defect rates, rejection rates, and overall product quality trends, and provide regular reports to management.
· Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to identify and address quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
· Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, standard operating procedures, and quality control records.
· Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems.
· Provide guidance and support to production personnel on quality-related matters, including best practices for quality control and process improvement.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting and implementing ideas to enhance product quality, inspection processes, and overall operational efficiency.

Desired Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational certifications in quality control or related fields are desirable.
· Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
· In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and quality assurance principles.
· Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspections, with the ability to identify and document defects and non-conformities effectively.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct root cause analysis.
· Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
· Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate quality-related issues clearly and effectively.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Proficiency in using computer software applications for data entry, report generation, and documentation management.
