Assembly/General Laborer – Cleves, Ohio

We have grown from one facility to four and are still growing with facilities in Cleves, West Chester, Fairfield, and Harrison. We have talent and experience in fabrication within the industries we serve and are in search of a motivated self-efficient individual as an Assembly/General Laborer.

This Assembly/General Laborer will be based at the Cleves location. The hours are Monday – Thursday from 5:00am-3:00pm. Overtime will be required as needed.
JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department supervisor, the responsibilities of an Assembly/General Laborer may include set up and operation of a brake press, drill, and cut-off saw while maintaining a high quality of workmanship to meet productivity and efficiency objectives set by management.
Job Duties
- Produce quality parts using Assembly drawings (Verifying parts: dimensions, angles, material gauge and type)
- Produce quality parts using Manufacturing machinery (Verifying parts: dimensions, angles, material gauge and type)
- Clean parts and edge break parts in Laser/Laser clean up.
- Maintain a clean and orderly shop (garbage/scrap removal, sweeping, wiping down machines)
- Operator Preventive Maintenance on machines as needed
- Build assemblies according to specifications.
- Bend, form, stretch, notch, punch and/or straighten metal to meet job requirements and quality on part.
- Plan sequence of operations to achieve desired result.
- Measure and inspect workpiece for defects.
- Communicating with the Production team on job progress / questions / concerns
- Make/Repair skids, assist Shipping cut wood, reorganize parts.
- Assist QC repair parts, prep skids, pull/organize hardware.
- Maintains reliable and regular attendance.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during work-shift.
Candidate requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Ability to use hand tools preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret routers, blueprints, drawings, and machine sketches preferred.
